Fuel Filters

These nylon inline fuel filters are for 1/4" (6mm) fuel line, and are best suited for the  Kaw 900 & 1000 models with dual fuel inlets......These versatile filters can be used in almost all applications, and their serrated ends often provide for good sealing without even using clamps..... When clamps are necessary, cable ties or small clips will usually do the job........ These can be removed and cleaned  by backflushing with compressed air........ NOTE: In high-performance applications where fuel demand is higher than stock -  These filters may not allow adequate fuel flow for proper performance  In such situations, the 5/16 filters lower on this page are the solution -  Hose clamps (or small ty-wraps / cable ties) can be used where the lines attach prevent leaks! On some Kaws, it just seems impossible to install in-line fuel filters....... These 90 degree, 1/4" inline filters can come in real handy.... These aluminum, serviceable fuel filters are for 5/16" (8mm) fuel line, and are best suited for 900 & 1000 models using a single fuel line.......In addition to stock Z1-R's and Z-1 Classics with original fuel injection, these are also ideal when using VM29 Smoothbores and other non-stock carb setups on a Kaw that use one fuel line.... As shown, these have a removeable (and replaceable) bronze insert........Heavy gauge clips included...... In Stock at Redline Cycle   (Not all colors always in stock ) NOTE:  Newer versions of these very good filter do not have a "FLOW" directional arrow -      Fuel enters the filter at the narrow end of the bronze element - Make sure on installing that the casing end is tghtened securely !  Hose clamps (or small ty-wraps / cable ties) can be used where the lines attach prevent leaks!                                     $28.95 each
